Level 2 Help - Low Time/Effort Committment
Submit a teacher statement in favor of the Referendum
A pro-referendum group consisting of parents and community members has reached out to WCTA seeking statements from teachers that can be shared on social media. The goal is to raise awareness of the actual issues related to the passage of the referendum (i.e. what is at stake) and to fight misinformation that is being shared by some other groups.
Submit a brief pro-referendum statement using this form.
Level 3 Help - Medium Time/Effort Committment
Stand at a polling place
Early voting takes place at various times and locations between October 21st and 31st. Teachers standing at polling places makes a STRONG STATEMENT to voters!

Canvassing/Walking Neighborhoods
Would you consider canvassing/walking a neighborhood with a group of other teachers and/or admin to talk with some community members about the referendum?
You don't have to be a spokesperson. You can walk along just as support the person leading.
